Biography

Sue Brown MSN, RN-BC, CRRN, CCM, RNA, CMAC is a masters prepared nurse whose career has spanned nearly three decades, working in various settings in Southern Florida. She is currently the manager of International Case Management at Broward Health in Ft. Lauderdale where she has worked for the past ten years. Broward is one of Florida’s premier medical centers with more than 800 beds and a level 1 trauma center. Sue has been actively engaged in building Broward’s program for international patients since 2012. Broward is now a recognized leader in the Southern Florida market place for assisting both foreign patents and Americans traveling in Southern Florida and the Caribbean. Sue’s team of case managers and other medical professionals routinely accept patient evacuated from the Caribbean, the Bahamas and the Yucatan Peninsula in Southern Mexico when they need a higher level of care than they can receive locally.

Sue’s nursing career has run the gamut from rehabilitation to workers comp to home care to acute care in a level 1 trauma center. She has developed and evaluated nursing education materials and presented at several professional conferences over the course of her career.
