Biography

Nicole Masci, RN-BSN, CCM, BA is currently an Operations Manager at Carelink CareNow. Carelink manages over 100, 000 lives in our risk contracts serving our Delaware members in Comprehensive and Disease Management programs. Nicole has worked in a Leadership position in both the Financial and Health Care Industries. She joined Carelink after working for a Medicare Advantage plan, were she concentrated on Disease Management in the Special Needs Population. Nicole serves on several statewide committees in Delaware to create smoother transitions across the health care continuum. Prior to transition to Health Care, Nicole worked in Wealth Management Services for Wilmington Trust Company for 10 years. Ms. Masci is a Certified Case Manager and holds bachelor’s degrees in both Business Management and Nursing.

Barbara RN-CCM has worked for Christiana Care Health System since 1996 and has over 20 years of nursing experience with 10 years in case management. Barbara has worked in the areas of Case Management, Utilization Management, Data Informatics and Analytics, Information Technology, and Population Health. Barbara has worked in collaboration with I.T project managers on the implementation of Cerner’s Care Management Module, Ensocare’s electronic referral process for discharge planning, Change Healthcare for Interqual -Utilization Management, and Medecision’s Aerial Care Management Platform for Population Health. She is a Certified InterQual Instructor for UM and Barbara serves on several state-wide committees in Delaware to create smooth transition of care for discharge planning. Barbara was previously the staff educator for inpatient acute-care Case Management and Social Work and is now the Operation Manager at Carelink CareNow. Carelink manages over 100, 000 lives in our risk contracts serving our Delaware members in Comprehensive and Disease Management programs.
