Dawn Taylor, RN, MSN,CCM
Dawn Y. Taylor, RN, MSN, CCM is currently a Medical Case Manager at Naval Medical Center, San Diego, where she works as a Behavioral Health Case Manager. Dawn has worked at the Medical Center since January 2019. She has been a Case Manager since 2007 and she obtained her CCM in August of 2010. When she was in the Army Reserves as a Nurse Corp Officer, Dawn, worked for the Warrior Transition Battalion on and off active duty and she was assigned to the following duty stations Schweinfurt, Germany, Fort Carson, Colorado, and Fort Sam Houston, Texas and she worked as a civilian at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Dawn retired from the Army Reserves in June 1, 2016 as a Major. She has worked for the Department of Veteran Affairs where she assisted in opening the Laughlin Rural Outreach Clinic in Laughlin, Nevada for the Las Vegas, Department of Veteran Affairs. While in Laughlin, Nevada she received an award for Outstanding Patient Care from the Director of Nursing (Jennifer Strawn). Prior to accepting a Job at Naval Medical Center San Diego, California, Dawn was the Neurology Care Manager for Northern California Health Care System working for the Department of Veteran Affairs and assigned to Mather VAMC, where she also received an award for going that extra mile for Veterans and families. During the 28th Annual Case Management Society of America Conference and Expo, in Chicago, she successfully completed the Integrated Case Management course prior to the conference.
