Victoria Koehler, MSW, LCSW, BCD
Victoria is a Portland Oregon native. A graduate from Linfield College, McMinnville, Oregon in 1997 and Portland State University, School of Social Work in 2002. Victoria has worked at Portland VA Healthcare System since 2001. Starting her healthcare career as a Social Worker for inpatient medical/surgical units and then later as OEF/OIF/OND Care Management Program Manager. In role she manages a team of Social Work and RN Care Managers providing specialized case management for Combat Veterans. In 2005, Victoria served with American Red Cross Mental Health Disaster Relief for Hurricanes Katina and Rita. Also in 2005 she began working as a Social Work Field Instructor for Portland State University, Graduate School of Social Work. Victoria role was expanded in 2009 when acting as the Veterans Integrated Service Network 20 (VISN) Lead OEF/OIF/OND Program Manager. Victoria’s National VA Involvement includes: VA Secretary Wounded Ill and Injured Task Force Workgroup 2011, VA Central Office National OEF/OIF/OND Program Manager Detail 2012, Post Deployment Care Wiki Development 2012, and Chair of National Leadership Council 2013. Most recently she is serving as Executive Assistant to the Chief of Staff at the Portland VA Health Care System.
