Nicole Berman, MSN, RN, CCM
Nicole Berman, MSN, RN, CCM, is a Nurse Case Manager in the acute care setting. She has expanded her nursing practice into leadership as the Manager of the Care Management Department at Cleveland Clinic Foundation- Akron General Hospital. She has over 11 years of experience in acute care nursing. Her years as an emergency nurse became the foundation for her nursing role as a Nurse Case Manager. Nicole has a BSN from Kent State University, and has her MSN from Chamberlain College of Nursing. She became a Certified Case Manager in 2016, and is currently Co-Chairperson for the Education Committee of the CMSA- Cleveland, Ohio, Chapter. Nicole was presented with the Cleveland Clinic Excellence Award in 2012 for Interdisciplinary Team Process Improvement for Emergency Patient Throughput from arrival to disposition. She was also a participant in the Cleveland Clinic Kaizen Process Improvement Approach to Care Coordination Documentation event. This event was the recipient of the CMSA 2017 Case Management Practice Improvement Award. She is the recipient of the 2018 Cleveland Clinic Nurse Excellence Award for Care Management. She has presented on Structured Interdisciplinary Bedside Rounds at the National CMSA Conference 2017. Nicole Berman lives in Chardon, Ohio.
