Linda Sposito, RN-BC, currently serves as a Medical Case Management (MCM) Supervisor with Managed Care Advisors (MCA). In this role, Linda is responsible for providing supervision of daily operations within her assigned team of MCMs, and serves as a Team Leader of the designated team. Linda assists with training, orientation and mentoring of Case Management, (CM) personnel and provides support to the MCM Manager of the Early Intervention (EI) Unit. Additionally, Linda provides direct CM services and customer service as primary CM and as coverage. Prior to taking on the responsibilities as Supervisor four years ago, Linda managed an assigned area since beginning with MCA in 2010. MCA’s EI Unit consists of specialized nurses providing prompt assistance to injured federal employees in securing appropriate and high quality medical care with follow-up actions to stimulate and enhance recovery and case resolution.

Licensure and Certification: Linda is licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Pennsylvania, Nevada and California. She is also Board Certified in Case Management by the American Nurses Credentialing Center nationwide and Certified as a PGAP (Progressive Goal Attainment Program) Provider.

Additional Qualifications/Accomplishments: Linda has over thirty years of professional nursing experience including over twelve years of case management and occupational health nursing with nine years dedicated to federal workers’ compensation with particular attention to compliance with FECA regulations. As a veteran of foreign war, Linda also offers the unique experiences as an active military nurse both in domestic and combat deployments with progressive leadership development, serving as flight nurse, instructor, evaluator and Chief Flight Nurse Examiner. As a current member of the MCA EI unit, Linda is particularly attentive to managing cases and providing supervision within nurse case management professional standards and ethics and agency guidelines and policies. Linda has presented professionally to various audiences in her diverse environments, sharing her expertise in nursing, occupational health, case management, customer service, leadership and military health and transport.
