Hayley Tidwell, BSN, RN, CCM
Hayley Tidwell, the Director of Clinical Education for One Call, develops and provides clinical education to claims professionals and nurse case managers. This education is related to medical diagnosis effecting injured workers including complexly and catastrophically injured workers. She provides ongoing solutions to claims professionals to meet the ongoing medical and ancillary needs of short and long-term injured workers upon discharge from the acute care setting. She also provides nursing reviews of ongoing home health and medical supply needs for injured workers to identify opportunities to improve the quality of care and reduce cost for these services.
Ms. Tidwell has worked as a nurse for over 20 years. Her background includes physical rehabilitation nursing for Centers of Excellence in physical rehabilitation for patients who have experienced brain, stroke, orthopedic and spinal cord injuries. Her experience as a physical rehabilitation nurse prepared her for her next role as a nurse case manager in the worker’s compensation industry. As a case manager, Ms. Tidwell worked closely with claims professionals, physicians and professionals providing therapy. Ms. Tidwell obtained her Certification in Case Management in 2001.
