Elizabeth Sprinkle, LCSW, C-ASWCM, MVF-AFW
Beth Sprinkle currently serves as a Field Advisor for the Care Coordination & Integrated Case Management (CC&ICM) initiative in the Office of Nursing Service. As a Field Advisor, Ms. Sprinkle works to develop and implement policies, practices and standards of care that are deployed to the field and across programs. She acts as a field advisor to national, VISN and facility staff for the CC&ICM initiative.
Prior to joining the Office of Nursing Service, Ms. Sprinkle worked as a
Federal Recovery Coordinator (FRC) in the Office VA/DoD Health Affairs. As an FRC, Ms. Sprinkle worked with severely wounded, ill, and injured Service Members and Veterans, as well as their families, to ensure that care and benefits are provided appropriately as the Service Members and Veterans progress through rehabilitation and recovery and reintegration.
Before joining the Federal Recovery Coordination Program, Ms. Sprinkle worked as a Social Work Case Manager on the Polytrauma Rehabilitation Unit at McGuire Veterans Hospital in Richmond Virginia.
In this role, Ms. Sprinkle served as a member of the interdisciplinary team to provide case management and discharge planning support and services to the Service Members and Veterans receiving intensive rehabilitation for their TBI and/or complex rehabilitation and medical needs.
Prior to joining the Veterans Health Administration, Ms. Sprinkle worked in long term care and the acute care setting as a social work case manager and discharge planner.
Ms. Sprinkle graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2001 with a Master in Social Work degree and is licensed as a clinical social worker in the state of VA. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and currently holds two case management certifications, Advanced Case Management and Military Service Members and Veterans.
