Angelina Jung, RN, BSN, CRRN, CCM
Angie Jung has nearly 30 years of case management experience within the workers’ compensation field. She is a board-certified case manager, as well as a certified rehabilitation nurse. Angie has served as a nurse case management supervisor, regional medical product coordinator, and in-service instructor for professionals in the workers’ compensation and healthcare communities. Angie is a co-founder of ISYS Solutions, Inc., which provides medical case management and return-to-work services throughout California, Nevada, and Arizona. She is an active member of CMSA and has served as a board member of the Rehabilitation Nurses Society (Southern California Chapter). She is the recipient of the 2008 Thomas Gucker Award, recognized by her peers for “Excellence in Patient Advocacy”. Angie is also a co-founder of CareerSmart Learning, which provides continuing education to nurses, case managers, and other healthcare professionals nationwide. She acts as subject matter expert consultant, editor, and curriculum development review committee member to ensure the integrity of course content offered to the case management and nursing community. Angie is an experienced public speaker and has spoken at numerous seminar events, as well as conducted on-site in-services, for case managers and workers’ compensation professionals, on topics such as Effective Use of Medical Case Management in Workers’ Compensation, Diabetes and Obesity: Impact on Workers’ Compensation Case Management, Chronic Pain Management, Case Management in Catastrophic Claims, Aging Workforce and Impact on Workers’ Compensation Case Management, Traumatic Brain Injury, Opioid Management, and many more topics related to disease management. Angie’s speaking style incorporates vibrant visual aids, humor, and case examples / interactions into all presentations. Angie has published articles in The Examiner, the official publication of the Arizona Workers’ Compensation Claims Professional Association, published newsletter articles for CareerSmart Learning, and been a regular contributor to articles on AllNurses.com. Angie is also a certified CPR instructor through the American Heart Association and a strong advocate of giving back to the community. In addition to taking part in many local philanthropic activities, she recently teamed up with her dog and certified in a Therapy Dog program where they devote many volunteer hours providing therapeutic supports to children and older adults.
